Helpful Storage Tips East Side Road Self Storage

• Place stereos, cameras and high value items to the rear of the unit in unmarked boxes.

• Keep an inch of air space around the perimeter.

• Place frequently used items at the front of the unit for easy access.

• Cover items with light plastic.

• Store a refrigerator / freezer with the door open.

• Pack books flat (to protect the spine) in small boxes lined with plastic.

• Remove all batteries from battery powered items.

• Bicycles and tools should be wiped down with mineral oil to prevent rust.

• Candles, flammables, film, tapes, food, guns, ammunition, drugs and medicine should NOT be stored.

• Pack clothes in dressers to conserve space.

• Mattresses and box springs should be covered and stored on end.
